The gratitude round
Card 25 of 52
Put it on the board and read it out. Nothing to prepare.
In these last few minutes, bring to mind three things from this week you feel grateful for. Try to include one that involved another person.
If you are comfortable, share that one with your neighbour using the sentence "Someone made my week better when..." and listen to their answer.
As you listen, notice the many ordinary ways we affect one another's week.
Keep the other two to yourself and take them with you into the weekend.
That’s the practice.
Listen for Pairs may need a reminder to keep to one sentence so both have time. Passing is always available.
The skill of celebration. Joyfully acknowledging and appreciating the good in your life and the lives of others, both small and big.
What good in your own or someone else's life could you pause to notice and appreciate today, before rushing to what's next?

“What They Did, Out Loud” takes a few quiet minutes, just for you, before you teach it. Nothing you write in it is saved or sent.

There is a full lesson on this skill, about 40 minutes.
